The short version: Ticker Sage explains public companies from their SEC filings. It's education, not advice, and you use it at your own risk.

What the site is

Ticker Sage publishes general information about public companies, mostly drawn from what they file with the SEC. Every reader sees the same pages. By using the site you agree to these terms; if you don't agree, please don't use it.

Not investment advice

Nothing here is investment, financial, tax or legal advice, and nothing is a recommendation or offer to buy, sell or hold any security. We don't know your finances, goals or tolerance for risk, and the pages aren't written for any one person. Using the site, or writing to us, doesn't create an adviser, broker or other professional relationship. Investing carries risk, including losing money. For advice about your own situation, talk to a licensed professional.

Accuracy and sources

Figures come from companies' 10-K and 10-Q filings through SEC EDGAR, and each one links to its source. We check them against the filings, but mistakes can still happen, and companies sometimes restate their numbers. Pages show information as of the date given on them and may be out of date by the time you read them. The filing itself is the authority; when in doubt, read it. If you spot an error, tell us and we'll fix it (see Corrections).

Links to other sites

We link to the SEC, the companies and other sources. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for what they say or do.

Using our content

You're welcome to read, share links to and quote short passages from the site with a link back. Please don't republish whole pages, sell the content, or scrape the site in a way that strains it. Data from SEC filings is public; the writing, design and selection on this site belong to Ticker Sage.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including that it's accurate, complete, current or always available. To the fullest extent the law allows, Ticker Sage isn't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on anything in it, including investment losses. Some places don't allow certain limits on liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
